Does it become see-through?
Under normal lighting, no. In strong backlight or direct sunlight, thin cotton can always reveal a little more than thicker fabric. If this is a concern, go for a darker colour for those kinds of days.

Does it shrink in the wash?
Pure cotton can shrink slightly at high temperatures. Wash it at 30 degrees and it will stay close to the size you bought it in.

Can it be worn as an undershirt?
Yes, but then you’ll miss the whole point. The regular fit is designed to be worn on its own, not hidden away under a shirt.
