Performance Pants in black are a stretch-woven pair of trousers for men, cut in a slim fit that sits close but comfortably through the thigh and calf, then tapers slightly down the leg. With an elastic waist and give in the fabric, they stay easy to move in whether you're at your desk or out for the evening.

The slim, tapered shape is what makes these work: it keeps a sharp line without pinning your legs in place, so you get a clean look and room to move at the same time. Pockets keep your essentials to hand, and the zip-and-button fastening closes them off cleanly.

Generally speaking, trousers will last longer if you wash them at a low temperature, turn them inside out and avoid overfilling the washing machine. Avoid tumble drying unless it is specifically stated as an option – air drying is gentler and helps to preserve both the fit and the colour. This way, your trousers will stay looking good for longer.
